1. Filter blockage: If the water pump filter is blocked, it will cause the water volume to decrease, and it needs to be cleaned or replaced in a timely manner.
2. Suction pipe problem: If the suction pipe is damaged or blocked, it can also cause the water pump to fill slowly. You can check whether the suction pipe is broken, blocked or not tightly connected, and repair or replace it in a timely manner.
3. Aging of water pump seals: Aging of water pump seals can easily lead to water leakage, reduce water volume, and require replacement.
4. Pipeline blockage: Pipeline blockage is also one of the reasons for low water volume. It is necessary to check whether there are foreign objects or sediment blocking the water pipe and clear it.
5. Pipeline leakage: Pipeline leakage can lead to a decrease in water volume and requires timely repair.
6. Leakage of pump body: Poor sealing of the water pump, such as leakage at the connection of the pump body, inlet pipe or outlet pipe, can affect the suction of the water pump. It is necessary to check whether each connection is tight and replace the sealing parts if necessary.
7. Impeller damage: The impeller is the core component of the water pump. If the impeller is worn, deformed, or stuck, it will seriously affect the pumping efficiency of the water pump. It is necessary to check the condition of the impeller and replace it with a new one if necessary.
8. Motor failure: The motor is the key to driving the operation of the water pump. If the motor is damaged, poorly wired, or the voltage is unstable, it can cause the water pump to malfunction. The condition of the motor should be checked to ensure stable power supply.
9. Controller failure: For water pumps with controllers, such as frequency converters, pressure switches, etc., if the controller fails, it will also affect the start and operation of the water pump.
10. Diameter issue of suction pipe: The user changed the diameter of the suction pipe during installation and use, resulting in a decrease in suction force. Therefore, a suitable pipe diameter should be used.
11. Pump chamber not filled with liquid: Failure to fill the pump chamber with liquid during use results in air inside the pump chamber needing to be expelled, which greatly prolongs the water filling time.
12. Leakage of suction pipeline: Slight leakage at pipeline joints, flange connections, and other places can cause slow water filling in the self-priming pump of the diesel engine. It is necessary to check and repair the leakage point.
13. Self suction height issue: The self suction height is limited, and if the installation height exceeds the self suction height, it will cause difficulty in filling water. Consider replacing the high suction pump or reducing the suction pipe diameter.
